The GD team is always
on the lookout for new guests, and to start off 2014 we’ve had some fabulous
businesses join us as guests for the year.
First up our New Zealand guests - yes we have gone across the little puddle of water and extended GD to our NZ colleagues.
Nicola from Roar Baby
Roar Baby is a contemporary online cloth diaper and
baby clothing store, stocking gorgeous organic prints and fun customisable
modern cloth diapers. Based in sunny Gisborne in New Zealand, Roar Baby is based
on the philosophy that sustainability is key for our beautiful future
generations. We are always happy to chat to new MCN using mums and help them
along their journey. Roar Baby also dyes it's own fabric for use in cloth
diapers and clothing! We look
forward to seeing you around on our page or website.
Well if you were
around in January you would have seen work from Jannah from Cherry Pie
Nappies! Wasn’t that sheep nappy
just so darn cute! Stay tuned for lots more fun and fabulous work from Jannah.
If it’s a new hat you are looking for
them look no further than Squeeky Cheeks.
Specializing in wide brim hats for toddlers, older kids and even the ladies, limited edition kids clothing items and (less often now) fleece nappy covers. Sandi started out making the nappy covers just before her youngest was born in
2008. As her kids got older, she then started branching out
into a few other bits & pieces...by far her most popular item being her wide-brim hats.
Stephanie from Campbells House
Stephanie started making modern cloth nappies for her son and enjoyed the freedom of creativity so started making them for her friends and then to sell. As well as MCNs, Campbell's House make wet bags (varied sizes), baby change mats and pinafores. Variety is the spice of life, so there are often some surprise items too!
Michelle’s work has been seen on GD before
at our annual birthday party, but will now be a more regular guest. A WAHM of three gorgeous little
munchkins (and one man-child) and in business since 2011, Michelle makes cloth nappies, baby and children's clothing, organic teething ring taggies and pram liners.
Jelaine from Little Alligator
If toy storage is your challenge then Jelaine has the answer. Little Alligator is the home
of durable toy bags, library bags
& pouches to help you organise your family. She loves using modern designer
fabrics to create versatile storage options that are stylish for adults and fun
for kids!
Katy is a WAHM to 2 beautiful young children
who loves to sew and create clothing and MCN's. She started sewing again when her daughter was born and her passion has just grown from there. Now she has a budding
little business that keeps her busy (when the kids are sleeping).
If you are looking for
colourful and cushy homewares then Lisel has you covered.
Jo from One Busy Sloth
Jo and is the director and designer behind One Busy Sloth. She makes gorgeous
and practical bags and pouches for those who love good looking and functional
arm-candies. The emphasis in all her designs is always about the product being
user-friendly, and at the same time, exciting to look at. Visit her at
www.madeit.com.au/onebusysloth for beautiful and well-made bags to match any
outfit. You can also follow her at www.facebook.com/onebusysloth
