Flood Fundraising from Cherub's Kiss and Outrageous!

Just a scan of the donation - this was money from Cherub's Kiss auctions and Outrageous! jewellery from the Gossamer Dreams Stocking on the 15th January.

Thank you to everyone that purchased or bid to raise this awesome amount.

We deposited it to the Salvation Army Flood Appeal through Woolworths as they were matching dollar for dollar the funds donated, which means twice as much to those that will need it the most in the coming weeks and months.

Pink and Green Delight!

The main fabric, with the leaves, is from my private stash.  It is one I have been saving for something special...and that is this months stocking at Gossamer Dreams.
Combined with the all time favourite of pink gingham, the finished piece is just adorable.

Another sneak peek of one of my other items -
Roses with pink (would you believe that I didn't use to like pink but now love it!)

Hand printed bliss.

Nothing says 'Eden' more to me than handprinted fabrics. I found this Kangaroo Paw print at the fabulous Ink & Spindle stand at Melbourne's first Finders Keepers market last year. This gorgeous fabric is designed and hand printed only a couple of train stops from my house - I can't believe there is such magic being worked so close by!

Happy New Year!

And welcome to 2011.

Gossamer Dreams intends to be bigger and brighter than ever this year. We've got lots of gorgeous new Guest WAHMs in the firing line. For the January stocking we have some returnees and a brand spanking new Guest. We've waited patiently for her to start sewing her gorgeous wares and I think you'll all be very happy with her stunning creations.

Oh wait ..... I guess you'd like to know what the theme is too?

'Eden'

So what does Eden mean to us? Well you'll have to wait and see, whilst each of us produce their own private Garden of Eden.

Here is a little peek from our newest Guest WAHM - I bet someone can guess who she is?
